  • Change Pain Virtual Conference 2020

The Change Pain Virtual Conference 2020 took place on 24th September 2020 at 17:30-19:30 with the stimulating title, ‘Optimising pain management: Leading the way to improved outcomes for our patients’. This virtual event was attended by 239 delegates with varying specialities such as; doctors, nurses, pharmacists and physiotherapists. The agenda featured presentations from Prof. Anthony Dickenson (University College London), Prof. Praveen Anand (Imperial College London) and Prof Irene Tracey (University of Oxford).

The presentations explored the pathophysiology of pain, optimisation of pain management and best practices in addition to the current environmental challenges faced due to COVID-19. A ‘hot topics’ panel discussion was featured at the end of the webinar and delegates sent in questions for the faculty throughout the sessions.
